Dr. Leah Morton, PsyD, HSPP
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP). I have received clinical training across a variety of residential, inpatient, and outpatient settings, working with children, adolescents, and adults. Currently, my clinical practice is focused exclusively on adults.
I am especially passionate about supporting men and women through all phases of parenthood, including family planning, infertility, adoption, navigating psychological health during pregnancy, and postpartum mood and anxiety concerns. I also enjoy working with professional adults who are striving to strengthen their psychological health, resilience, and overall performance.
In addition to my therapy practice, I offer a range of consultation and supervision services across the business and healthcare sectors. I genuinely enjoy the collaborative nature of consultation and supervision work and value the opportunity to partner with professionals and organizations in advancing clinical excellence, leadership development, and overall psychological well-being.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, exploring art and design, and finding any excuse to be active outdoors. I am the proud parent of two children (ages 15 and 10), who keep me grounded, motivated, and continually learning. I am deeply interested in the connection between emotional and physical functioning and feel grateful to have a career centered on helping people process, heal, learn, and grow.
I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors for the Postpartum Support International – Indiana Chapter, as well as on the Indiana Department of Health Maternal Mental Health Task Force.
I value a holistic approach that targets both physical and emotional well-being. No two people are alike and no two sessions will be alike. I tend to utilize a combination of empirically supported treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Our initial session (often called an intake) will be approximately 60 minutes. We will review your history and talk about where you are at and what you would like to work on. At the end of our first session, we will come up with a plan of action to move forward. After your initial intake session, your additional therapy sessions will be 45 minutes in length and scheduled at your convenience to fit with your needs and goals for treatment.
Insurance can be confusing and overwhelming to figure out. If you would like to use insurance benefits to cover your therapy, it is best to first contact your insurance company to understand your coverage. Here are a few important things to know about my practice:
Intake Appointment and Evaluation: 60 minutes FEE: $275
Individual Therapy Session: 60 minutes FEE: $210
Individual Therapy Session: 45 minutes FEE: $160
Individual Therapy Session: 30 minutes FEE: $110
--I am in network with Anthem. This means I will bill Anthem directly and you will be responsible for your co-pay and/or the full session fee (at Anthem's negotiated rate) if you have not met your deductible. If you have a co-pay, it will be collected at the time of service.
--I am considered out-of-ntework for all other major insurance providers. What does this mean? You will be required to pay the full session fee at the time of service. I will provide you with a bill to submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement based on your out-of -network benefits.
The free app REIMBURSIFY can help you seamlessly submit your out-of-network claims.
--If you would prefer to not use insurance and pay directly out of pocket, your session fee will be collected at the time of service. Why would someone not use insurance? Excellent question! It has many benefits and can offer a much more flexible treatment plan. It also does not require that I provide a diagnosis and session information to your insurance company and your treatment can remain confidential. Furthermore, you may wish to address non-diagnosable issues such as improving communication skills or coping with the stress of a new job. These non-diagnosable issues are not usually reimbursable. You can still utilize your HSA benefits even if you do not use your insurance.
I accept all major credit cards, including HSA account cards, PayPal and Venmo for payment.

Thank you for taking the time to prioritize your mental health. I look forward to connecting with you soon.
